What data we collect

• Account information: your email address and authentication metadata.
• Photos you upload to your private Photo Vault, including images containing your face.
• AI-generated images produced from your inputs.
• Payment metadata processed via Stripe (we do not store card numbers).
• Usage data: credit balance, transaction history, subscription status, and basic activity logs.

How we use your data

• To generate images you request by sending your inputs to Google's Gemini API.
• To operate accounts, credits, subscriptions, and billing.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Third parties and sub-processors

• Google (Gemini API) — processes your uploaded and generated images to produce AI output.
• Stripe — processes payments and subscription billing.
• Lovable Cloud — provides hosting, database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure.

Biometric and sensitive personal data

Photos of faces may be considered biometric or sensitive personal data under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). We use your facial images solely to generate the AI outputs you request. We do not sell your images, and we do not use your images to train our own AI models.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your Photo Vault images, generated images, and profile data. We retain anonymized billing records (with no personal link to you) as required for tax, accounting, and chargeback purposes.

International users and data transfers

MakeMyTrend is available worldwide. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our sub-processors listed above. By using the service, you acknowledge these transfers.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can export your data and delete your account directly from the Settings page, or contact us at [email protected] for any other request.

Children

MakeMyTrend is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit, private per-user storage buckets, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; you use the service at your own risk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above.
